These are the steps to increase web traffic to your blog. These are what I have learn from other blogs and websites. Feel free to give any more points if I am missing here

Keywords is very important determining the ranking of a blog in search engine ranking. Do research on what keywords will be search by user and you have the keywords on your individual post.

Backlinks are the list of links from other websites direct pointing to your blog. Having more backlinks to your blog will increase the search engine ranking of your blog.

New Content on your blog daily on a regular basis is required and the blog must updated frequently as search engine likes fresh content. Use bold to highlight important keywords as it will appear to be more weighted.

Page Size as small as possible because visitor may not like to wait long time for the page to finish loading. This is kind of distraction and frustration. Visitor may wonder “Is this page working? Why it won’t show anything?”

Web hosting bandwidth is very important factor as when the blog has almost reach the maximum limit bandwidth available and the blog will has a feeling of heavy loads.

Cool design sure will attract more visitors to your blog. It always gives the impression of your blog is very professional and when they are reading your blog, they will feel relaxed as the color matching and content placing affects the eyes of readers. We as human always like to see nice and beautiful things. But the visitors will leave also if can’t find the information they wanted.

Social networking can improve the blog traffic easily as mouth to mouth information passing is very powerful. You must maintain a good numbers of readers and treat everyone as your friend.

Marketing can get more traffic to your blog by signing up to AdWords or other advertisement placing site. Marketing can categorize into two categories: Paid and Free. Paid marketing such as Adwords is very effective by have to pay a lot of money for that. Free marketing is available everywhere such as Twitter, StumbleUpon, Digg, Facebook, Friendster and many others. You can always show off your blog to others in the internet.

My blog is hosted on a Malaysia web hosting but many people would wonder why choose Malaysia web hosting since cannot put high hope on broadband in Malaysia because it always has downtime. Anyway, I choose it because I want to give it a try and I believe it should be as good as other international web hosting
