By default, all websites will be cached by search engine and it will stored a history version of the website as archives but will appear as search lists in search engine. Beware, if your topic post has been remove from your site, the cache still exists and it can be search by user. When the user click on the broken link, it will go to an error page. Even, if you have change the title name, the existing cache will still stored in Google bot. It appears as two different versions of the topics that you have change.

This is a simple guide on how to disable search engine from caching the website and make sure search engine always crawl the latest updated contents. In order to tell the server that no cache is needed, META tag has to be added on the top header of the page. Some of the effective META tag will be useful such as below :




This will tell the search engine do not store the cache in the server. Therefore, the Search Engine Results Page(SERP) will always have the latest content exactly as the website content. This guide doesn’t guarantee it will appear at the top rank of search engine but it is just to prevent Google bot keeping the broken links of your website.
