For book lovers out there, MPH Malaysia is having stock clearance start from as low as RM2. There are more than 10 thousand books in the building and have around 10 cashier counters stand by. Yesterday, I go to have a look since it is located nearby my house and the building is crowded with people. But no air-conditioner and not enough ceiling fans to provide enough air flow. I don’t have good feeling to read books in a place like this. So, I have to decide as soon as possible which books I should buy without staying too long hours. These are the two books that I have bought yesterday. Rich Dad The Secret The Secret “Rich dad’s” book teach everyone to think effectively as a rich person, how to do investment and how to use words effectively in your mind to enrich your life. Another book is “The Secret” which is not a new book. I like the design of the book which feels like mystery and really reading a secret book once I opened the book. It makes me want to read it again and again. I have to queue for 10 minutes at the cashier counter before I could leave there. Imagine how many people are there while the 10 cashier counters are always busy with people paying their books. Not all books have discount price but need to search patiently. These are the information of MPH Stock Clearance 2009. Grab your chance before it is too late :)

Location : Lim Kok Wing old building, Taman Mayang, Kelana Jaya Price : RM2 to RM80? Period : 14 March – 22 March

I am not sure other outlets are having stock clearance or not. The advertisement stated the venue is located at Taman Mayang, PJ. You can take a look at their official website for more information at here. A map location is provided also :)

I am a frequent visitor for MPH, but i do not usually buy their book because is quite expensive. If they have a promotion, it can be considered.

Hi Simon. What type of books you like to read? I seldom visit local bookstore except I think that I want to read some new book. I only buy those book which I think it is useful for me in long run.

    Hi,

‘Retire Young Retire Rich’ was a huge seller here in South Africa. Many people bought the book, even my Dad which is way over 50 years old. I guess you are never to old to learn.

Thanks for commenting on my site. I also noticed that my credits never increased, funny hey!

Hi Patricia. The stock clearance has ended since last month(22 march 2009). There are many kind of books just as available in the store. I think they pick the best books of each category and put in the clearance list. Not all books have discount price tag and only selected lists have discount.

    Hi Alvin,

Thanks for the reply. I have just gone to MPH in Wan Utama and bought myself three books. “Developing the Leader within you” by John Maxwell and two books by Mitch Albom. Do update me if there are any good books or sales or clearance? Thanks in advance.

Hi Patricia. It is nice to know some book lovers at here. I remember I don’t like to read books in my school time. I don’t know when I started to love reading books.

Anyway, nice to meet you and I will let you know if there is any stock clearance. Hope I didn’t miss out also :P Thanks for dropping by

Nice meeting you too Alvin. Im nuts about reading books. Of course not all kinds of books. In fact the MPH assistant commented just now ” You luv to read books. Malaysian don’t love to read books.” So if you have any nice books, do recommend. “Tuesdays with Morrie” by Mitch Albom is really good. Do read it if you have not. You will surely cry…
