WP-Smush.it is a plugin to integrate smush.it features into Wordpress automatically. You don’t need to go to Smush.it website to optimize your images now. This plugin will automatically do it for you once you published your post. Otherwise, you can do it manually also by click on the “Smush.it now!” link such as below screenshot.

Notice that you can see how much you have reduce your images size based on percentage value. Some images can reduce more and some can reduce a little bit only. If you can save a little bit of extra images size, then you can really save a lot in the future once you have hundred to thousand images on your website.
