I am one of the frequent Facebook user and I have set autopost my blog posts to Facebook to ensure the process is done automatically without adding each link post manually at Facebook. There are some friends who give comments on the notes which are imported from my blog posts. I get a friend’s comment which looks like a suspicious comment that want share a link to me. I wonder whether this friend’s account has been hacked or the Facebook notes application has a loophole.

Twitter is Target By Spam Bots / Users?

I keep receiving notification emails from Twitter that someone follow me on Twitter. As I read my email, I saw a pretty lady picture with 0 followers and following 208 people. Anyone saw this will know that it is either a spam bot or the user is using a tool to generate auto-follow 208 people. I still remember I click “follow” button manually and it takes several weeks for me to reach some numbers of people who following me back. Take a look on the screenshot below. DISQUS Comment System Will Jail Your Comments

If you have your own domain and self hosted on a server, DISQUS Comment System will probably jail all your comments and you are unable to export back to your Wordpress or Blogspot database. What they have provide to the users are just an option to export to XML file. The XML file is not recognize by Wordpress or Blogspot which mean you can’t keep the comments to yourself anymore. The comments are slowly belongs to them because you don’t have control over the comments anymore. You have to continue rely on their commenting system.

“Yet Another Related Posts” Plugin is a cool and most popular downloaded “related post” wordpress plugin on the top downloaded list by most of the blogger. Before I get to know this plugin, I am using “Similar Posts” plugin from Rob Marsh, SJ. “Similar Posts” works for my blog but later I found out that the relevancy of the topic doesn’t match to each topic on my blog. Some topics didn’t show up under the related posts section which makes me to wonder what happen.
