There are several ways to measure how popular your blog is based on certain criteria. Blog popularity is not just about organic traffic from search engine or loyal readers. There are many criteria to determine how well your blog is doing and the value of it.

1. How many posts / articles you have. Your blog popularity can be first determine by how many good quality articles you have and the density of your contents. Do your contents giving value to your readers and help them after they read your article? Start writing good meaningful articles to help your readers now instead of focusing too much on make money online from blogging.
2. How frequent your readers comment on your posts. The more frequent readers comment on your posts, the more success you are because you have gain a majority of readers who founds your blog contents are interesting and your posts can really attract their attention to voice out their opinions.
3. How many backlinks you have. Creating backlinks required time and effort. You can create backlinks by yourself but it requires a lot of time to have tremendous links to your blog. This will determine your Google PageRank which mean, how much links to your blog you get from outside sources. When your blog has become mature or you have become problogger, other readers will start to link to your blog eventually.
4. You have write your own e-book and your readers like it very much. Writing your own e-book ensure you have your own branding and product to promote to your readers. It simply means you have build your solid base on the blogosphere. You will be getting more people come to your blog since you have more stuffs to promote to them.
5. You have make the real faces of you appear to your readers. This can be done by video blogging and promoting yourself with video recorded about stuffs you want to tell your readers. This is another way on how you can get more connectivity with your readers.
6. Other people are eager to advertise on your blog. You have a lot of advertisers on the queue list waiting to advertise on your blog? This is a sign of that your blog is very popular and you have tons of traffics every day coming from search engine or return loyal readers. This is the time where you will crack your head and busy about accepting advertisements.
7. You have a lot of friends in blogging and supporters. This will ensure your road to success with the help of friends and supporters to get you along the blogging journey. No matter what we do, we can’t really rely on one man show and ourselves only. The more friends we have, the better we can become. Make sure you are helping them in return also. Otherwise, they will started to left you when they think you are not generous enough. As “real friends want to see you success but fake one not”.
