Cool Stuff #2: How Google Website Optimizer Can Help You

Recently, GoogleLabs has created a nifty tool call BrowserSize that allows you to see how much of your webpage is immediately visible to your visitor depending on the size of their monitor and resolution settings. This is a useful tool for website designer. Before you really go into designing all the graphics and images, you can use this tool to see how your webpage is display to visitor because not everyone are using wide monitor especially laptop user.

A better way to plan the position of buttons and section is by using Google Website Optimizer. You can test how your website looks like to make sure every people are can view your page correctly without scrolling too much. Here is the screenshot of Google Website Optimizer. Click on the image to view on better bigger resolution.

What you need to do it place your website URL into the textbox and click “Go”. You see the snapshot of your page and how it looks like for different types of resolution screen. Google Website Optimizer official website is here.

Google has tons of great tools for us bloggers and webbers to utilize and optimize our sites. I can’t really keep up with their recent new tools.

Thanks for dropping by. Yes. Not all the Google tools are needed by most of us. BrowserSize is more suitable for designer or theme creator.

Only tools I use from Google are AdSense, AdWords, Analytics, FeedBurner, Webmaster Tools and self-hosted Google Apps. I wonder if one can actually use ALL of the Google tools and utilize them. :)

Hmm. Not really can use all :P There are too many Google Apps already. I just choose to use certain apps that I required.
