I have never thought that the latest HTC Desire phone doesn’t support store and save android apps on SD Card. There are two ways to store it. Either the apps must download the data files manually from internet to save it into SD Card automatically or backup manually by users. Apps are not support to run externally on SD Card. This is bad idea while everyone should have at least 8GB empty space from SD Card to be used.

However, the latest Android OS 2.2 does support that. HTC Desire users will still have to wait for the latest Android for HTC device to be released but not all applications will be supported also. Maybe there is an issue of the OS when the SD Card is remove from the device?

With the new Android OS released, this common issue should be solved in every android phones.
