iOS 4.0 (aka iPhone OS 4.0) New Features List

iOS 4.0 has released last few days ago and many users had upgraded it. Too bad not many iPhone apps support the new OS features and not all apps are working perfectly after installing the new OS. Probably there are too many features added to various areas. More than 100 features added to this new OS 4.0 but hardly we can see it that much because most of it are system settings and built-in OS features. We use iPhone Apps from App Store more than the pre-installed apps in our iPhone OS.

I saw that not many apps able to utilize the multitasking features especially games. I hardly seen any game that support background processing after I quit the application. It seems that new feature will need greater knowledge to fully implement and utilize it. The apps that show the feature from multitasking is the Settings in home screen. When you close this system settings and re-open in new navigation bar, it will still show you the last screen after you quit.

I have seen this improvement in App Store also where you will return back to same screen if you re-open it back. I remember in previous OS 3.0, everytime I open App Store, it will show the main screen. It will not display back the last screen I visited.
