This update is a security update as according to Apple. It fix the security issue of PDF files that may contains malicious crafted embedded fonts which allow arbitrary code execution. iPhone users will be having security loop holes when viewing a PDF documents using their device. This update also fixed other issues according to other users who experiences the issues like Bluetooth, WiFi connection and proximity sensor.
Hope this update will really fix the antenna issue from iPhone device. Even with my iPhone 3GS, I am experiencing the low quality signal when talking and listening on the phone call. I having trouble to get 100% of what they are saying unless the noise disturbance will be lower and no signal issue. Funny is that when I point my fingers up like a fake antenna, the signal will issue will gone and become clearly by itself. Strange, huh?
