There are a lot of HTC Android smart phones in the market and very difficult to choose the best one that is suitable for you. Unlike iPhone, you will only choose the latest model such as iPhone 4 or you will consider iPhone 3GS if the price is cheaper, you will not consider iPhone 2 or 3. While HTC has a lot of model to choose, these two smartphones definitely had their own similarity in hardware specifications. HTC Legend does look more elegant but the solid body of Wildfire and bigger screen that it has is more attractive. The price of Wildfire is almost half price of HTC Legend which makes it more affordable to buy than HTC Legend.
The original price of HTC Wildfire is RM1,199 and Legend is RM1,999. Everything are much more the same except the following.
- HTC Wildfire has the weight of 118 grams (Legend is 126 grams)
- TFT Screen (Legend is AMOLED)
- Wildfire has bigger screen
HTC Wildfire is a budget phone that comes with average hardware performance. In terms of price comparison, HTC Wildfire is the big winner here. You can get it at RM549 by signing up with Maxis phone package. It is very hard to find a smart phone selling at the price of RM549 especially HTC phones. You can forget the latest new AMOLED screen, it is not really a big deal unless you stay under the sunlight all the time while using your smart phone, do you?

Why did that never occur to me? Anyways I’m thinking of buying iPhone 4, so it really doesn’t matter which one of these is better. But hey thanks for the useful information, I’m sharing it with my friends.
