One of my friend ask me this question when her iPhone app hangs unexpectedly while on waiting progress. One of the best solution to solve this problem is: Restart your iPhone. This problem happens on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and other models. It is not due to hardware problem but more to software issue.
If problem still persist but you can’t remove the app, you will need to re-install a fresh Apple iOS. Make sure you have backup all the apps, musics, videos, contacts and mailboxes before you proceed. Download the latest Apple iOS using iTunes and click Restore button to install a clean copy.
