WinterBoard is a center for all iPhone themes. WinterBoard is more powerful than SummerBoard and it is open source. It can support almost any cool themes on iPhone. I have install Suave WinterBoard Theme successfully on my iPhone 3GS.
However, WinterBoard is lack of theme preview option. There is no option to preview the themes before installing them. Searching through the huge list of themes in Cydia is very troublesome also.
Installing WinterBoard on Cydia is very easy. It is almost the same as you install other apps on Cydia. Follow these steps below.
How to Install WinterBoard package on Cydia
Step 1: Open Cydia app.
Step 2: Search for keywords “WinterBoard”.
Step 3: As the result shown, tap on WinterBoard to install it. Follow the screen instructions.
Step 4: After install successfully, it will be place on your home screen.
Step 5: Tap on it and select any pre-install theme for you. There are other settings you can configure by changing the appearance of the dock bar, and effects like glow.
Step 6: Done. Restart your iPhone or iPod if necessary.
Now, you can download iPhone themes and change any appearance of your iPhone/iPod. There are many themes effect that you can play around with. Enjoy!
