According to popular iPhone hacker @MuscleNerd, the iOS 5 over-the-air update will not work for jailbreak users. It is likely a new strategy to kill the jailbreak community with restriction to certain features.
It is mean that jailbreak users will not able to enjoy the smaller file update size at the next iOS release. They need to download the whole 600+ MB ipsw iOS file. Over-the-air iOS update is great enhancement in iOS 5.
If the jailbreak community can’t come out with a tweak to enable this feature on jailbroken devices, would you consider unjailbreak your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad?
