On last sunday, I have just bought some new upgrades for my computer. I found out that the processor heat is a bit higher than normal temperature. When idle it stay at 59 Celsius. When running Facebook Cafe World, it increase to 69+ something. I suspect there is something wrong with the motherboard or CPU fan. I am not sure whether the Intel Motherboard is the cause of the heating problem or under perform issue. The CPU fan also making noises.

So, I decided to try Cooler Master Hyper TX3 with small thermal grease included to cool down the processor temperature. After successfully install everything, the processor temperature drop 10+ celsius. Although not much improvement, but at least better than existing. I guess I need to install additional fans to make the CPU temperature even cooler. CPU usage drop to 35% from 55% last time. This is pretty cool as it does not make my computer lagging anymore.

Overall I am satisfied with this upgrade but I just hope it can be lower down to 40 celsius something. I also bought additional Kingston DDR2 800MHz RAM 2GB because I am planning to migrate to Windows 7 64bit when I have enough budget. Can’t wait for that!
